Waldorf, Clinic Cat
Waldorf came to our clinic in August of 2006. He was 8 years old, weighed only 4.5 lbs, had a very large bladder stone and all of his hair was very matted. We shaved all of his hair to get rid of the matted fur, removed his bladder stone and started a weight-gain program. Our intentions were to find him a new home, yet he quickly wrapped us all around his little paw. We changed his name to Waldorf after one of the grumpy old Muppets who sits in the theatre balcony. After much discussion, we decided to keep him as our clinic cat.
He has a great personality and loves to be brushed and petted. He enjoys the warmth of our computers and greets us every morning. In his spare time, Waldorf enjoys playing with his catnip toys, sunbathing in the office window, being hand fed treats and trying to steal bites of any snacks the staff is eating.
